Kefilwe Fifi Monosi is a photographer based in Gaborone, Botswana. Coming from a conservative nation and community she explores issues that are considered taboo to talk about in her community: sex work, the LGBTQI community, gender-based violence, mental health, menstrual hygiene, abortion. Fifi believes in the power of storytelling to create awareness, educate, inform and spark conversation surrounding these issues. She is currently working on a project about violence against sex workers.
