Julia Cohen Ribeiro is a multidisciplinary artist from Argentina. A student in image and sound design from the University of Buenos Aires, Julia’s project on Mara Remedios del Valle won the national documentary competition in 2020. In 2016, she co-founded Kukily, Afrofeminist Arts Collective that creates interdisciplinary work in performance, installation, audio-visual and community-based projects. Their work has been exhibited at several locations, including Conti Cultural Center (2018, 2019), Kirchner Cultural Center (2020) and National Historical Museum, Argentina (2019). Julia’s individual, as well as collective artistic practice, has centered around the theme of identity.
