Joey Alexis Singh is a filmmaker and visual artist based in the Philippines. Joey studied filmmaking at the University of the Philippines Film Institute and has been collaborating with artist-filmmaker Jim Lumbera since 2020. Their practice spans film, photography, new media art, and expanded cinema, exploring themes of memory, identity, and the intersection of traditional and contemporary media.

Joey was nominated for the Fernando Zobel Visual Art Prize 2023 and received the Objectifs Documentary Award 2021. Their work has garnered support from institutions like the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Arts and the Asia Culture Center, showcasing their innovative approach to storytelling and visual expression.
