Hachul Le Do is a multimedia artist based in Viet Nam. His practice spans a plurality of interconnected media, including animation, illustration, sculpture, mixed reality, poetry, and screenwriting. Hachul Le Do’s work is witty and grotesque, often delivered in a provocative and conversational manner.
Through his practice, Hachul dissects what lies beyond the material realities of his identities as a Vietnamese transgender, queer, and disabled artist, consistently seeking to expand understanding of marginalized experiences and social outliers by investigating the interdependence of culture and queerness.
