Davit Nersisyan is a freelance documentary photographer based in Yerevan, Armenia. Davit began his journey in photography while working as a librarian at the Mirzoyan photobook library, delving into the realms of theory and long-term photo projects. He graduated from the Nikon-Noor Masterclass in 2021 and the International Center of Photography in 2022.
Davit's work is distinguished by its focus on marginalized individuals, capturing stories often overlooked by mainstream media. His approach involves collaborative efforts with his subjects to create intimate narratives that foster empathy and connection. Utilizing photography, imagery, and video, Davit constructs multi-chapter visual narratives that deeply explore his subjects' experiences and personal environments.
