Amera Alnaal is a civil activist and visual storyteller based in Libya. Graduating from the Faculty of Languages, Department of Translation at the University of Tripoli, Amira embarked on her journey in photography in 2020, dedicating herself to documenting street life and the social issues present in Libya.Her practice encompasses a spectrum of interests, including documentary filmmaking, investigative journalism, climate journalism, and fact-checking. Amira captures narratives that spotlight the challenges and resilience found within her community, aiming to foster understanding and drive social change. Her work, characterized by its depth and commitment to truth, not only sheds light on underreported stories but also contributes significantly to the discourse on human rights and environmental concerns in Libya.
