Adong Judith is a playwright and filmmaker based in Uganda. Her work passionately explores social issues through a creative lens, particularly focusing on justice, peace-building, and human rights. Adong's narrative art serves as a platform for marginalized voices, aiming to spark dialogue and societal change. Notable among her projects are "Silent Voices" and "Just Me, You and THE SILENCE," both acclaimed for addressing the complex layers of human rights abuses in Uganda. These works have been staged internationally, including prestigious venues in Europe and Africa.Educated at Makerere University and with further studies at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, Adong has cultivated a practice that intersects art with social activism. Her films and plays, often presented at international festivals, challenge audiences to reconsider their perspectives on cultural norms and justice.
