The focus for the Volunteer will be on to provide support for event production, both before, during and after the events.
The Prince Claus Fund is gearing up to expand our visibility in Amsterdam this year, and we have many exciting events planned involving our global network of artists and cultural practitioners. In the second half of 2025 the Fund is planning to organise at least three public and stakeholder-oriented events. Think arts-focused intimate dinners, public artist talks in collaboration with other cultural organisations and interactive gatherings for our community of supporters.
We are looking for someone to help the Fundraising team with tasks in preparation and for on-site support during the events. The Volunteer may also provide production support for other teams in the Fund.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Compiling guest list data from our CRM system (PerfectView);
Assist in monitoring RSVPs from emails and online forms;

Benefits
The Volunteer will gain extensive knowledge about the Fund’s network of outstanding artists, thinkers, cultural organisations and collaborators. You will support production for both formal and informal high-level events which focus on the work of the Prince Claus Fund, and will gain much insight into the Dutch cultural network.
This position is unpaid, but the experience, skills and network you gain are of immense long-term value, particularly for anyone interested in cultural production, international collaboration or non-profit fundraising/development. The Fund also offers a supportive, interactive team environment that allows volunteers to learn about multiple aspects of the how an international arts and culture funding body operates.
Whether you are a student with no summer plans, retired, or on a sabbatical seeking to be more involved in arts and culture, you will play a significant role in supporting our mission for a free, valued and inclusive world where culture is a basic need. We would be delighted to meet you!
