Communications internship
We are looking for an intern who can support our Communications team. The Communications team at the Prince Claus Fund, working closely with each team at the organisation, oversees and manages all external communications of the Fund, its brand and storytelling.
We have a lot of exciting developments coming and the internship will include tasks such as social media content creation, new Awardee cohort announcements, and media monitoring.
Tasks
Coming up with creative and exciting content for our social media channels and newsletters;
Closely monitoring social media channels and following Dutch and International news and social media;
Preparing and planning the 2025 Seed Award announcement in close collaboration with the Communications Coordinator;
Researching inspiring and impactful artist stories to feature on our website.
Qualities and qualifications we're looking for
Fluent English - excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required;
Pursuing a degree in communications/journalism, marketing or related field preferred;
Experience with social media and content creation;
Efficient, quick, resourceful, pro-active, self-motivated, stress-resistant and able to work with a team in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent organisational skills and detail-oriented;
Affinity to arts, culture and social justice issues.

Duration and compensation
We are looking for an intern starting from June 2025, preferably for 6 months and for (at least) 3 days a week. The Prince Claus Fund provides an allowance of €500,-- gross per month based on a 32-hour internship. The allowance is based on the amount of working hours, hence fewer working hours will translate into a lower allowance.
Only currently enrolled students are able to apply. If you are not a student but would like to be involved in the work of the Fund, you can also apply to be a volunteer. Volunteers receive a maximum net amount of €190,-- per month.
