Thiago Maiandeua is a Tupinambá indigenous leader and environmental activist from the Island of Maiandeua in northeastern Pará. He is a prominent advocate for youth and the preservation of Tupinambá culture in the community of Fortalezinha. As a student of Agricultural Sciences at the Federal University of Pará, Thiago founded the course's academic center in 2018.
Recognized by the French Embassy in 2021 as a young defender of rivers and oceans, he now serves as the executive director of the Cuíras Network, which unites young leaders from 15 marine conservation units across Pará.
