Waqas Manzoor is a multidisciplinary artist based in Pakistan. Waqas’ work blends together multiple art practices, including photography, theater, and performative storytelling. In the medium of digital media art, his practice revolves around photographic and documentary works, and he also works as a public performative artist. Throughout his oeuvre, he explores the emotive communication aspect of humans, nature, and the environment. Waqas’ was a fellow at the Pakistan Photo Festival, for which he created a project that documented the history of folk toys in Punjab Pakistan. He has also worked on a documentary for the Lahore Biennale Foundation Virtual Museum, titled “Dastan-e-Urdu”; the work documented 75 years of Urdu in Pakistan.
