Sarri Elfaitouri is a conceptual architect, artist, art curator, and cultural producer based in Libya. Sarri holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and his work manifests as research, theoretical architectural projects, art curation, and collage art. Through his practice, he searches for alternative possibilities for creative socio-spatial transformation and investigates contemporary socio-cultural issues, identities, and ideologies, and their impact on architecture and cities.
Sarri is the founder of the TAJARROD Architecture and Art Foundation, a research design practice aiming to critically reinvent the architectural and artistic discipline in Libya and beyond. He has published theoretical projects and essays online and has curated and participated in several exhibitions locally and abroad.
