morani is a researcher and curator based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Specializing in curatorial and artistic practices that incorporate non-hegemonic approaches to knowledge, morani focuses on themes of equity, aesthetics, and ethics. As a Black cultural practitioner from the suburbs and peripheries of Rio de Janeiro, he is dedicated to fostering discussions that challenge traditional narratives and promote diverse perspectives.
His work has been featured in various prestigious venues, including Museu de Arte do Rio, Galpão Bela Maré, and MAC Niterói. morani currently serves as an assistant curator at Solar dos Abacaxis and has collaborated on numerous independent publications and residencies. He holds a degree in History of Art from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
