Profile
Lucrezia is a drag performer, visual artist, and queer activist based in Georgia. Lucrezia’s practice is an expression of the essence of their feelings and personal experiences, and their artistic voice is shaped by the changing social and political movements of their society. Lucrezia’s art becomes a testament to resilience, a conduit for their voice, strength, and hope.
Lucrezia’s debut drag performance was at Bassiani in Tbilisi, a legendary club and safe haven for queer people in Georgia, where Lucrezia was also an art director and resident performer. Lucrezia is currently the art director and resident performer at Khidi, and they have also performed and exhibited paintings at “Not Human Art Week” in Aachen, Germany, and at "Private Stages Public Selves " at RFDINSEL in Innsbruck, Austria. Lucrezia has been featured in various publications, such as Dazed & Confused, Fucking Young!, and Komplex Kulturmagazin.
