Profile
Griselle Viviana Lopez Mendoza is a photographer and visual artist from Peru. She graduated from the Peruvian Institute of Art and Design with a degree in Photography. She approaches her photographic projects collectively, collaborating with counter-information initiatives during the social demonstrations in Lima (2015). She’s interested in documenting the histories and stories of Afro-descendants and indigenous people in Peru through the collective intervention of existing photographic archives. In the future, she hopes to engage with different channels through her artistic practice to develop a narrative and photographic language where her identity and social interests are saturated.
