Profile
Lina Lasso is a Colombia-born afrofeminist artist and activist based in Argentina. She is a theater teaching student at EMAD (Metropolitan School of Dramatic Arts) where she has also completed a training program in acting. With experiences in Cultural Management, Audiovisual Production, and acting within the Buenos Aires’ independent theater circuit, her work involves practicing, teaching, and investigating performing arts and poetry. Lina is also a founding member of Kukily, an afrofeminist and interdisciplinary art collective which carries out a critical political work to exalt the potential of people of the African diaspora.
