Profile
Gu da Cei is a visual artist, cultural producer, and curator based in Brazil. Gu holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication and is completing a master's degree in Visual Arts at the University of Brasília. He works within the scope of urban intervention, installation, poetry, photography, performance, and video. In his practice, Gu discusses issues around surveillance, images, the right to the city, and public transport.
Gu is a curator at Galeria Risofloras, and he is part of the coordination of the Foto de Quebrada Festival. Some of his work can also be seen in the book "O Direito Achado na Rua: Critical Introduction to the Right to Communication and Information".
