Frankétienne, born Franck Étienne is a multidiciplinary artist based in Haiti. He seamlessly melds his talents as a writer, poet, playwright, painter, and musician into works that resonate deeply with themes of Haitian identity, politics, and social issues. As one of the founders of Spiralism, a literary movement that explores the complexity of existence through a unique narrative form that breaks conventional storytelling molds.His works, such as the novels "Dézafi" and "Ultravocal," are acclaimed for their innovative use of language and form, blending French and Haitian Creole to capture the essence of Haitian life.
