Diana Castro Sánchez is a film director, producer, and cultural promoter based in Peru. Diana holds a master’s degree in Film Curation from the Elías Querejeta Film School, and she participated in a workshop at the International School of Cinema and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, where she also directed her first short film, “Nomabo”. In her work, Diana addresses issues of gender, language, and identity. Her work has been selected for the Locarno Industry Academy and her video poem “Kutimuchani” was shown at the Berlinale Talent Campus of the Buenos Aires Film Festival.
