Profile

Deni Stojanov is a theatre personality, performance and visual artist from North Macedonia. With a background in acting, his practice includes performance, multimedia projects, film, photography and research. In the past he has staged his plays at ‘Perform2Reform’ project in cooperation with the Macedonian Helsinki Committee, and was awarded best play at the DAF Kochani Theatre Festival. His work deals with the travesties faced by the LGBTQI+ community, transnational refugees and the history of Macedonia. In the future, Stojanov hopes to incorporate technology into his performances using VR to create an interactive and immersive experience for his viewers.
