Profile

David Amado is a theater artist and graduate of the Escuela de Arte Dramático Maragarita Irún. In 2017 he created the project "La Posdramática" with which he develops unpublished theatrical works created under his direction. In 2019 his first play "Ahmad Amado, a theatrical piece on the river" was nominated for an Edda Award for Best original script. The Historical Memory and Reparation Institute judged his play "It's about us (also)" as a play of "National Interest". In 2020 he won the Edda Award for Best Social Theater Play. That year Amado also received the Edda "Revelation Award". He has taken workshops and seminars with Vivi Tellas, Alberto Conejero, Lola Arias, Xavo Giménez, among others.
