Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam—

gathering global changemakers

About the collaboration

We are honoured to count Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam among our valued corporate supporters. Their commitment to meaningful hospitality goes beyond providing exceptional experiences—they help make vital encounters and exchanges possible.

With their generous support, the Prince Claus Fund is able to host cultural changemakers from around the world—offering them not just a place to stay, but a place to connect and reflect.

“As a collective of 25 luxury hotels rooted in the heart of Amsterdam, we are proud to support the Prince Claus Fund and its unwavering dedication to culture and creativity. This partnership reflects our shared belief in the power of the arts to connect, inspire, and enrich our communities. By championing cultural expression, we not only enhance the experience of our guests but also help preserve the rich heritage that defines Amsterdam. Supporting culture by hosting 200 changemakers during the Fund's Award Week is, to us, the true essence of timeless hospitality.”

— Remco Groenhuijzen, General Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre & Chairman of Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam

Highlighted projects

Whether it's for our Prince Claus Awards Week, or other key moments of gathering and collaboration, Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam ensures that our global network of changemakers feel welcomed and supported. They were major partners in the 2024 Awards Week, where artists, thinkers, and cultural practitioners from all over the world were welcomed in multiple locations throughout Amsterdam, part of Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam, for a week filled with events, dialogue, and inspiration.

Starting in 2025, Luxury Hotels of Amsterdam will support the Fund’s programme of exchange events in Amsterdam, a partnership with the Amsterdam Municipality, to foster international cultural collaboration between our global network of artists and local cultural changemakers.

“At Hotel Okura Amsterdam, we are proud to support the Prince Claus Fund and its mission to champion culture and creativity. Welcoming over 200 changemakers in Amsterdam during the Awards Week was a true reflection of our belief in the power of dialogue, diversity, and cultural exchange. Guided by the Japanese principle of omotenashi, we see it as our privilege to offer a space where meaningful encounters can flourish, and where global voices are honoured in the heart of Amsterdam.”
