Eric Lee is an artist from Singapore whose practice falls somewhere in between the cracks of visual art/media, performance and cinema. From his research on mass psychogenic incidents and mass productivity initiatives in the factories of Singapore, he will attempt to assemble and toy with connections between functioning state ideologies and the endless reconfiguration of individuals for the sake of capital.
Heavily inspired by notions of “troublemaking”, the work of Eric Lee tends to be playful and mischievous. He finds joy in creating machinery and moving images to cultivate these considerations.
