Profile

Conflictorium is a narrative-building organization committed to promoting conflict resolution through artistic and cultural practices. Their fundamental belief is in the transformative power of art to shape both society and individual perspectives, and they strive to bring together diverse segments of society to embrace plurality and facilitate dialogue.

To achieve their goals, Conflictorium collaborates with artists, archives, and other stakeholders in the contemporary arts community. Their initiatives encompass a range of activities, including participatory exhibitions, events, artist residencies, performances, film screenings, and educational programs such as workshops and film analysis sessions.

The Conflictorium's primary project is "The Museum of Conflict," which invites visitors to engage with personal stories and artifacts related to various conflicts in India and beyond. This immersive experience prompts critical reflection on the complexities of human experience and the need for collective healing. Over the past three years, they have also produced short films, which can be found on their YouTube channel, and publications in-house, such as the Conflict Journal and Elephant in the Room. Conflictorium has been a part of the Fund's network since 2018, when it became one of our NextGen Partners, as part of our past programs.
