The 2026 Impact Award Jury is an independent body, comprised of three international and highly inspiring individuals. The Jury members come from a diverse range of backgrounds, disciplines, and localities, bringing a wealth of experience and unique perspectives.
Beyond selecting the awardee, the Jury helps shape the research process and its public activation during Awards Week, contributing to ongoing conversations around impact, inheritance, and legacy.
Meet the 2026 Impact Award Jury
Following the closed call of nominations in December 2025, the Fund's Programmes team reviewed all eligible submissions and conducted extensive research, drawing on portfolios, publications, audiovisual materials, and more than 75 context-based recommendations. Working across three deliberation sessions between March and May, the Jury reviewed this research, shortlisted four finalists, and assessed additional in-depth recommendations before unanimously selecting the 2026 Prince Claus Impact Awardee.

Throughout the process, the Prince Claus Fund relied on local knowledge and first-hand recommendations rather than making decisions in isolation. This research methodology recognises that meaningful impact is best understood by those who have directly experienced the candidates' work and its influence within their communities.
