Benji Boyadgian is based in Jerusalem. His research-based projects explore themes revolving around perception, heritage, territory, architecture and landscape. He works with multiple media, employing painting and drawing as his primary tools, and installations as a way of engaging with space and context. Boyadjian studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris La Villette, specialising in urban sociology in post-conflict areas. His recent exhibitions include: Little did they know, EVA International, Limerick (2021); The Discord, Al Ma'mal Foundation for Contemporary Art, Jerusalem (2017); AQUA, Château de Penthes, Geneva, and SESC Belenzinho, São Paulo (2017); Lieux saints partagés, MuCEM, Marseille (2015).
